JAMMU: Shri Guru Ravi Dass S S Trust, Sikanderpur Jammu is organising Begumpura Itihassic Damri Shobha Yatra from Jammu to Haridwar under the aegis of Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj on 6th April, 2017.
Damri Shobha Yatra will start from Sikanderpur at 10:30 AM and it will be flagged off by Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj.
A large number of devotees from all walks of life from Jammu province will participate in this Shobha Yatra.
While addressing the media persons C.L Banal, Chairman of the Trust, said that Damri Shobha Yatra will be received and welcomed by different Shri Guru Ravi Dass Branch Sabhas and Sangat of adjoining villages/areas at different stations such as Digiana, Kunjwani, Bari-Brahmana, Sarore, Vijaypur, Samba, Kutamorh, Hiranagar, Chadwal, Kalibari, Kathua, Lakhanpur etc.
While entering Punjab, Damri Shobha Yatra will be given grand reception at Madhopur, Sujanpur and Dera Swami Jagat Giri Trust Bhadhroa (Himachal Pradesh).
After night stay at Dera Swami Jagat Giri Trust Bhadhroa (near Pathankot), the Shobha Yatra will proceed for Haridwar on 7th april, at 7:00 AM via Jallandhar, Phagwara, Hoshiarpur, Ropar, Chandigarh, Saharanpur, Rurkee and finally will reach Guru Ravi Dass Ashram, Begumpura Nirmala Chhawani, Haridwar on 8th April.
The saints of Sadhu Sampardai Society will deliver religious sermons on this occasion.
Birthday of Bharat Rattan Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar will be celebrated on 14th April at Sukhsagar Bhawan Sikanderpur Jammu under the aegis Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdip Giri Ji Maharaj.
The function will start at 10:30 AM with Bheem Vandana. The programme will be organised with the co-operation of Socio-religious and other organizations of SC/ST and OBCs.
He asked the devotees to pay Rs 1,000 per head for to and fro fare and boarding and lodging for five days.
