STATE TIMES NEWS
SRINAGAR: While lauding doctors for their exemplary work, Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) said that doctors have been working tirelessly since day one of civil unrest. Terming them real-life superheroes, President DAK Dr Nisar ul Hassan in a statement said that for last two weeks doctors, nurses, paramedics and hospital staff were silently toiling round the clock to save sick and wounded.
“At SMHS and associated hospitals alone, 450 surgeries on pellet and bullet injured victims were carried out. Majority of the surgeries were abdominal and neurosurgical followed by eye, limb and chest. It was indeed a human tragedy and doctors did a splendid job,” he added.
