In order to generate/ spread sustained awareness about cyber hygiene among the vulnerable sections and groups, Shopian Police celebrated Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas in all Police Station.
In this regard lectures were organised about different cyber related crimes and precautions required to be taken in order to avoid falling in the trap of cyber criminals.
Dysp Hqrs Shopian along with SHO and Dysp probationers organised a lecturer on cyber awareness about cyber security, cyber frauds and cyber hygiene in Govt Higher Secondary School Shopian. SHO Police Station imamsahab while interacting with the children of Higher Secondary School Imamsahab gave an extensive lecturer about the Dos and Do nots about judicious use of internet and students were encouraged to use cyber resources carefully and cautiously and don’t not fall in the trap of cyber criminals. SHO Zainpora, Heerpora and Kellar also organised similar cyber awareness camps in their respective Police Stations and interacted with the senior Citizens and respectables about the use and misuse of internet and have been made aware about different cyber frauds and precautions required to be adopted while surfing internet.
