STATE TIMES NEWS
KATHUA: The management of Chenab Textile Mills (CTM) realising the need of the hour to help the people fleeing from the border due to unprovoked firing by our neighboring country and taking shelter in temporary relief camps along with their children, some of them infants, sent trucks containing blankets to the people in relief camps to face the severe cold. First truck containing 500 blankets was sent to Hiranagar, Kathua, yesterday and second truck containing another 500 blankets was sent to Samba today for distribution to affected persons through administration of both the districts.
CTM is willing further to help the needy as and when required. This was disclosed today by its Executive President, K.C Sharma. He also requested all NGOs, social and religious organisations and prominent citizens to unite and come forward to extend as much as help they can provide to our own citizens in trouble to withstand at this critical moment.
