CRPF organises volleyball tournament

BHADARWAH: To provide a platform to young talent in sports activities, 33 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organized three-day Volleyball Tournament at Sartingal in Bhadarwah on Monday.
The event is being organised under Civic Action Programme (CAP) at Government Higher Secondary School Sartingal in which 12 teams from villages and rural schools are participating. On the inaugural function, ASP Bhadarwah Shazaad Salaria was the Chief Guest who inaugurated the tournament in the presence of 2IC 33 Bn CRPF, Neeraj Tyagi, Principal Ajeet Kotwal and T. T. Zou AC 33 Bn. The Chief Guest encouraged the players to maintain game spirit, which can fulfill their dream to excel in the sports they are passionate about.
All the players were provided with sports kit including track suit and shoes. “Such activities of CRPF will certainly help in developing better police public interface,” said a participating player. The inaugural match was played between Bheja Club and HSS Sartingal which was won by the Bheja Club in two straight games.
