CRPF organises free medical cum eye camp

UDHAMPUR: The 137 Battalion of Central Reserve of Police Force (CRPF), Udhampur on Tuesday organised a free medical cum eye camp at Baryal for the flood and landslide hit villagers of Baryal Panchayat and Sayal Sallan area of the district.
Commandant 137 Bn CRPF, Mukesh Kumar, along with team of doctors organised the camp in which doctors provided free medical treatment and medicines to the flood affected people in the district.
Mukesh appreciated the initiatives of the battalion for participating in the camp.
Large number of flood hit people especially women along with their children were examined in the camp. Services of an Eye Specialist were also provided during the camp.
Among others, 2nd in Command, D,V. Thomas, Deputy Commandant, Anil Shekhawat, Assistant Commandant, Puneet Bhardwaj, Medical Officer, Dr. Bhanu Pratap, doctors team from District Hospital Udhampur headed by Dr. Kamal Gupta, nursing staff, Sarpanch Baryal, Ram Paul and large number of people of the area were present on the occasion.
