CRPF organises free medical camp

UDHAMPUR: For the people of far flung areas of the district Udhampur, 187 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Udhampur organised a free medical camp under Civic Action Programme 2014-15 at Kirchi and Latti on Tuesday.
The medical camp was organised under overall supervision of Commandant 187 Bn CRPF, Manoj Kumar Sharma . Nearly 610 patients including large number of women along with their children, were examined in the camp and were provided free medicines.
While speaking on the occasion, Commandant,187 Bn CRPF informed that such types of free medical camps will be organised for the needy people in future also.
Commandant 187 Bn CRPF along with team of doctors visited the area and established the camp wherein doctors provided free medical treatment and medicines to the people of the far flung area.
In addition to free medical camp, agricultural equipments had also been distributed to the flood and land slide effected people of Dudu, Kirchi, Basantgarh, Latti and Sudhmahadev areas of Udhampur District.
Deputy Commandants 187 BN CRPF, Darbara Singh, S . S Bali and other senior officers of 187 Bn CRPF and prominent personalities of civil and local administration were also present in the camp.
