Dear Editor,
The unseasonal rains have washed away farmers’ hopes of profuse harvest. Farmers around the country put all their stakes expecting a good yield during this time of the year, but weather has played havoc with their crops. Unfortunately, the government has failed to come up with an effective management to help hapless farmers overcome the crisis. Apparently, distressed over damage to their crops due to sudden change in weather, some precious lives have already been lost. It is high time that the authorities do something worthwhile.
