Cricket tournament: Kranti Kursari Club wins opening tie

BHADARWAH: Kranti Kur-sari Club won the inaugural match of the cricket tournament being organised by Tamanna, NGO in collaboration with 4RR at Higher Secondary School Boys Ground, here on thuesday.
In the opening match, Kranti Kursari Club outplayed Vishal Cricket Club by seven wickets.
Kranti Kursari Club won the toss and elected to ball first. Batting first, Vishal Cricket Club set a target of 126 runs in 15 overs. Deepak was top scorer with 79 runs. For Kranti Kursari Club, Jameel and Sonu shared two wickets each.
In reply, Kranti Kursari Club chased the target in 14 overs after losing three wickets. Rashid smashed unbeaten 46 runs. For Vishal Cricket Club, Chander, Ankit and Jagwant shared apiece each. Earlier the tournament was inaugurated by Chief Guest, Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Bhadarwah, Sajjad Ahmed Khan. The tournament is being organized under the guidance of Rohit Wazir, Chairman Tamanna NGO. A total of 60 teams from rural areas of Bhadarwah are participating in the tournament.
