JAMMU: The Government on Wednesday adjusted one Chief Prosecuting Officer (CPO) and seven Senior Prosecuting Officers (Sr POs) of Prosecution Department, awaiting orders of posting in the Home Department.
According to the order issued by Raj Kumar Goyal, Financial Commissioner/ Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Jawaid Ahmed Khawaja, Chief Prosecuting Officer has been posted as Chief Prosecuting Officer in the Office of Director General Prosecution, J&K; Irshad Ahmad Naik, Senior Prosecuting Officer as Sr.PO, CTC, Lethpora; Bilal Ahmad Khan, Senior Prosecuting Officer as Sr.PO, STC Sheeri; Farooq Ahmad Mir, Senior Prosecuting Officer as Sr.PO PTS Manigam; Amit Prakash Sehgal, Senior Prosecuting officer as Sr. PO, SKPAU; Ch. Asif Iqbal, Senior Prosecuting Officer as Sr.PO PTTI Vijaypur; and Mohd Sayeed Choudhary, Senior Prosecuting Officer has been posted as Sr.PO, APHQ. He shall also work in the office of Commandant General, Home Guard/CD/SDRF, J&K.
