Court directs CB to register FIR in forgery case

JAMMU: The Court of Special Mobile Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Abrol while going through the complaint submitted by Rajesh Choudhary, son of Hans Raj of Tehsil Akhnoor, on Monday directed the SSP Crime Jammu under Section 156 (3) Cr PC to investigate the matter and report compliance within a month.
According to the complaint, Rajesh Choudhary has accused Ramesh Choudhary, son of Tulsi Dass Choudhary, resident of Akhnoor and Ex-Branch Manager of SBI Jaourian Bishan Lal Lochan for forging the signatures of the complainant on the cheques and withdrawing the amount of C.C limit of a loan case in the name of firm M/S Royal Rice Sheller village Mattu, Tehsil Akhnoor when the firm was virtually taken over by the accused Ramesh Choudhary and relevant deed was produced to the then Bank Manager Bishan Lal Lochan. The complainant said that he never withdrew any amount from C.C limit after dissolution of partnership.
The complainant submitted that both the accused hatched a conspiracy and withdrew the amount of C.C limit by forging the signatures of the complainant and later filed a case in the court of 2nd Additional District Judge Jammu for affecting recovery of the amount withdrawn.
The Special Mobile Magistrate after going through the case issued directions to the Crime Branch Jammu to register FIR against the accused for investigation.
