JAMMU: 3rd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Kishore Kumar Friday rejected the bail application of Kapoor Raj S/o Thoru Ram R/o Village Pura Chak, Tehsil Mandal Phalyan, District, Jammu who was facing trial in rape case.
According to the police case on 19.10.2015 at about 11:00 am in the morning while the victim aged 16 years was alone in her house, accused Kapoor Raj, applicant herein, who is relative of the victim came to their house and asked the victim to bring water for him, victim gave him water, accused after drinking the same forcibly took her inside the room and committed rape on her and when the sister of the victim came there in the house, accused fled away from the spot.
3rd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Kishore Kumar after hearing APP Sarwesh Gupta for the state who strongly opposed the bail application, observed that the nature and seriousness of the charge, the bail application is rejected.
