JAMMU: Accusing some of the opposition leaders of not adhering to political ethics, PDP leader, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that several amongst them are still facing corruption and criminal charges in the Court of Law but were still trying to misguide common people in Jammu and Kashmir State by their unconvinced traits.In his statement issued here, Ch Hamid said even after lapse of one and a half years several former ministers are unable to come to terms and are continuing to undermine PDP-BJP Coalition Government in the State which is committed to the welfare of commoners and is going quite well in terms of governance. Contrarily corrupt and spent forces were trying to misguide people by propagating false propaganda, he added.
The PDP leaders said that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is carrying forward her late father Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s dreams in right earnest and is sure to abide by the ethics of good governance, transparency and accountability which are the basic ingredients of establishing rule of law and making a prosperous State. He urged people to not to fall prey to those who were neck deep in corrupt practices and now skeletons of their misdeeds are tumbling out of cupboards.
