Through your esteemed daily, attention is drawn of the concerned authorities towards the problem countenanced by the residents of Shakti Nagar and adjoining localities of Shiv Nagar and Rajpura due to the non-availability of parapet or safety wall along the Nullah flowing through the locality.
The open Nullah without any safety wall is posing problem for the residents in particular and the public in general. This is dangerous not only for the pedestrians but even those driving two wheelers/ bikes on the road. Few days back, an employee of AG office had fallen into the Nullah while driving a scooty. Many such incidents have happened in the past also but the authorities seem to have turned a blind eye towards this. Therefore, the concerned authorities are requested to look into the matter and construct a safety wall in this very stretch to provide respite to residents.
