‘Conspiracy on to malign teachers’ image’

JAMMU: A high level meeting of SEECC was held at Jammu under the chairman of president EJAC and Chairman SEECC , Abdul Qayoom Wani .
In the meeting the important issues discussed threadbare were discussed were examination drama , humiliation to teachers , ReT Teachers, Teachers with distance mode certificates induction of Bureaucracy at Directorate and Joint director level , Ban on tuition , conspiracy of handing over the department to outside state NGOs, delay in releasing salary of SSA, RMSA , NPS , SBM teachers and delay in the regularization of KGBVs , SBM Volunteers Data Entry operators and Gender coordinators and contractual employees of SSA, delay in regularization of ReTs with five years service and release of time bond in their favor , Implementation of Minimum wages act in favor of contingent paid employees and lifting of Ban in regularizing ReTs with distance mode and release of time bond in their favor. Removal of Pay anomaly in all clerical cadres and master grades, reorganization of education department and creation of non teaching posts as per the strength of the department.
The leaders felt that the higher ups of education department under a big conspiracy wants to divert the attention of teaching community and common people from the core issues which will prove beneficial for the department and will improve the education standard in the state instead of working for the improvement of departments fictitious and malafide circulars /directives are being issued by the department to tarnish the image of teaching community in general and ReT Teachers in particular by creating examination drama and putting ReTs and the teachers with distance mode in mental trauma. In order to hide their failures , the higher ups of the department resort to malicious campaign against teaching community to malign image and reputation and this will prove detrimental to the whole process of education department.
In the meeting , A . Q Wani warned the people at helm of affairs of the department to stop examination drama and humiliation to particular section of teachers with distance mode certificates and to consider the genuine demands listed above for immediate redressal.
Wani appealed Governor N.N Vohra to check the officers at helm of affairs responsible for damaging the employee employer relationship in J&K state so that controversy which is arisen by the malafide attitude of officers is put to halt , otherwise five lakh employees of the state have the capacity and capability to show the right way to such arrogant officers.
