BANI: A meeting of Congress workers was organised at Bani in which people from all walks of life participated from Bani Assembly segment, including people from Bani and Duggan Block. The meeting was presided over by Rajnish Sharma(MIAN), Co-Treasurer J and K PCC.
The local Congress leader highlighted the problems faced by the inhabitants of the area such as bad road conditions, electricity supply, quality and quality of ration etc. They said that the road network in the area is not adequate and sufficient and the limited roads which are available are in worst condition and is risky to drive on them.
Rajnish Sharma in his address said that BJP-PDP led Govt. ignored this backward constituency of Kathua Distt and problems prevailing are just because of them. He said Govt worked for their personal benefits and never cared the masses. “The public is adamant to teach them a lesson in the coming Panchayati elections” Rajnish said.
Rajnish Sharma requested all the Congress workers to work untidily on grass root level to teach the BJP-PDP alliance a lesson in the coming elections. He said till date only Congress Party has worked for the development of the area and for last 12 years nothing has been done in the area by the sitting BJP MLAs. He further assured that he is committed to the cause and development of Bani Assembly segment and will work with dedication and sincerity for the people of the area.
