“Congress has supported GST bill in Parliament. We will also help passage of ratification in Goa Legislative Assembly,” Rane told reporters yesterday.
“But we will have to see what would be the impact of new tax regime on Goa,” he said.
The former chief minister said the state will have to see how much share it will gain from the central taxes once the Goods and Service Tax (GST) is implemented.
Goa Governor has summoned a one-day special session of the state Assembly on August 31 to ratify the GST bill.
