JAMMU: Expressing confidence that Congress will bounce back in a revitalized form on the J&K’s political scene, JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla on Tuesday said that the party will continue to push for peace with dignity which is the focal point of its agenda. Interacting with prominent persons of Chatha Pind as a part of his mass public outreach programmes, Bhalla said that leadership has started working on a revival plan and party cadre is being revitalised to carry on the party’s political campaign with renewed vigour. The meeting was organized by Refugee Cell Congress Vice Chairmam Amrit Bali while prominent among those present on the occasion includes Sarpanchs Dheera, Ravinder Singh, Mahinder Choudhary, Pawan Bhagat, Kapoor Lal Dogra, Sunil Kumar Panch, Daljeet Kour Panch, Sudesh Kumar Panch, Raj Kumar Panch, Rano Devi, Soma Devi, Dr.Ramesh Sharma, Pappal Barber and Babu.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhalla stated that the party has always held the need of dialogue and political approach as the only way out of the unending crises J&K is facing for many decades. “Mainstreaming of the political problems is the lasting contribution of Congress and it will continue to pursue it till durable peace is restored in J&K and people start living a normal and peaceful life,” Bhalla said.
Bhalla said people of Jammu and Kashmir are eagerly, waiting for assembly elections for teaching a lesson to BJP in J&K. “Congress is serving people with dedication and without self interest. Congress and its leaders are available for service at people 24×7. Congress will manage major win in J&K as people are fed up of anti-people, anti-poor, anti-trader, anti-employee and anti-farmer policies of BJP Government. They will definitely show the saffron party its place in the next elections,” he asserted.
