CHANDIGARH: Lashing out at Congress President Malikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for their silence over unfortunate demand of a separate country by a Congress MP, BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Monday said this sinister move lies the intention and policy of the Congress to divide and rule the country.
“The silence of Kharge, Sonia and Rahul Gandhi on the statement demanding a separate country makes it clear that Congress is still conspiring to divide India,” he said adding that three days ago the Congress MP D.K. Suresh demanded to create a separate country.
Chugh said that for the Bharatiya Janata Party, the entire country from Kashmir to Kanyakumari is one.
“We do not make any distinction between North and South India”, he added.
Even Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge did not say a word on this issue in Rajya Sabha yesterday, he said.
Behind this, Chugh added, the intention and policy of Congress to divide the country is clearly visible. Congress should clarify its answer in this regard, he said.
Chugh said that during the Congress tenure, India’s image was that of a corrupt and backward, country that could not stand on its own feet and had compromised its self-respect but respected Prime Minister
Narendra Modi has established India as a glorious, strong and decisive nation in the last 10 years.
The Congress used to do politics of casteism and vote bank, but now report card politics is being followed in the government of Yashasvi Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said adding that the BJP has done what it had said, it has also done what it did not say in the interest of the country and the people.
Chugh said that as the elections approach, the Congress and the opposition remembers the caste census. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that there are only four castes in the country, poor, youth, Annadata and Nari Shakti (GYAN), he said adding that if these four castes get welfare, then all the castes will get welfare. Therefore, all the schemes of BJP are focused on their welfare, he added.
Chugh said that no one had thought that Shri Ram Lalla would sit at his place and we all would get the privilege of seeing Ram Lalla being consecrated in a grand temple with the lotus feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“After 500 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also brought the struggle to a complete halt”, he added.
Chugh said that the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra that Rahul Gandhi has set out on is actually the Bharat Todo Nyaya Yatra. Rahul Gandhi is trying to attract people’s attention by doing some new drama every day, he said.
