NEW DELHI: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh said on assailed the Congress for playing a dirty game in the country by supporting Pakistan’s agenda, which the National Conference is promoting.
“National Conference manifesto clearly states that separatists currently in jail should be released, which is nothing short of anti-national”, Chugh said while addressing a press conference held at the Delhi BJP State Headquarters on the “anti-national manifesto issued by the National Conference of Jammu and Kashmir.
Chugh said the atrocities faced by Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990s, their exodus, and the necessity for thousands of them to leave their homes were orchestrated by three families, who plunged Jammu and Kashmir into hatred and terror.
“Under able and decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the current wave of change, patriotism, and development in Jammu and Kashmir is not favored by the selfish parties”, he added.
“Congress and the National Conference (NC) alliance must answer what their stance is on Article 370 and Article 35A. The country wants to know whether Congress wishes to bring Jammu and Kashmir back to the turmoil it once experienced. Congress should clarify whether it supports the NC’s agenda of negotiating with Pakistan rather than engaging with the youth of India”, Chugh said.
