Congress leaders tour Raipur-Domana Constituency

JAMMU: Former Minister and Vice President Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Mula Ram during an extensive tour to Raipur-Domana constituency addressed series of public meetings at Lale-da-Bagh, Barnai and Paloura.

Addressing a public meeting, Mula Ram said that many developmental schemes started by him have been abandoned and no new scheme is started. Due to this reason the general public is facing the problem of road connectivity, electricity and drinking water, etc. “The Constituency Development Fund (CDF) is misused and the constituency remained neglected”, he said adding that a degree college was sanctioned for Raipur-Domana but unfortunately, the representative of the Constituency did not take interest and the college could not be set up in Raipur Domana. Mula Ram said that he will bring back the Degree College to Raipur Domana if the people give him a chance to serve them again.
Congress Organising Secretary Hari Singh Chib said that the Raipur-Domana Constituency is lacking behind in the field of development. “The roads are in dilapidated condition, the power supply infrastructure such as electric poles and electric wires are old and require replacement, the electric transformers requires to be upgraded and it looks the development is standstill for the last 5-6 years”, he said. Chib said that massive development was taken place in Raipur Domana during the tenure of Mula Ram and appealed to the people to support Congress party for the peace, progress and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.

Sahab Mohammad, Bhagat Ram, Rajinder Singh, Hoshiar Singh, Neku Chib, Rattan Baru, Dev Raj, A.K Singh, Harban Lal, A S Langeh, Mohan Lal, Ch. Nazir Ahmed and Chaggar Singh.
