Congress lashes out at dual policies of PDP-BJP coalition

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Former MLC and Chief Spokesman of JKPCC, Ravinder Sharma lashed out at the dual policies of PDP-BJP Coalition Government and especially questioned BJP which is equal partner in the State Government and ruling at the Centre, over the issue of permission to the separatist leaders to hold seminar to intensify tirade against the interests of the country.
Reacting to the decision of the State Government, he said that it is in a part double standard of the PDP-BJP which besides reflecting a flip flop policy on Kashmir, is a well devised strategy of the coalition partners to simultaneously, stick to power and continue to hoodwink their respective electorate on the issue of settlement of Kashmiri migrants and establishment of Sainik Colony, while allowing such forces to launch open tirade to vitiate the atmosphere in the Kashmir Valley.
The slogans of BJP on these issues are only an attempt to create hype on emotional issues to win the sympathies of these sections like they did in the case of Abhinav Gupt Yatra, he said. PDP-BJP want to befool the masses on emotional issues as part of their vote bank politics and asked the BJP to come out clear and maintain the consistency both outside and inside the government as people fully see through their game plan, he said. “If they fail to get through their public commitments, they have no right to stay in the government,” he asserted. The BJP is totally exposed for its sell out for the sake of power as it has failed to assert on every single issue, so far, he said. JKPCC also strongly condemned the attack on the bus carrying Yatris of Mata Kheer Bhawani Mela and accused the government of its failure to ensure fool proof security arrangements. It asked the government to ensure foolproof arrangements for the smooth conduct of ensuing Shri Amarnath Yatra.
