Cong for equitable development of Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh: Mir

AKHNOOR: Urging Party Cadres to strengthen the Congress Party at all levels, JKPCC Chief G.A Mir on Sunday said that it is the Congress Party alone which represents aspirations of the people in all the three regions. While have served the people to the best of its ability, Congress Party would continue to remain steadfast in serving the people and remain committed for equitable development of the regions. PCC Chief was addressing a largely attended gathering of Party workers here at Khour.
Former Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, Deputy Chairman LC Jehngir Husain Mir, MLA Vice President G.M Saroori, former Minister Raman Bhalla, Co-Treasurer PCC Rajnish Sharma, District President Shamsher Singh, Block Presidents, Mahila leaders, Youth Congress leaders and others also addressed the gathering.
Expressing concern over the present chaos in absence of the Government, PCC Chief accused both the PDP and BJP for misleading people in the name of agenda of alliance. He said people are being treated as slaves by both the parties and the present political drama staged by them is another attempt to hoodwink the people like they have done in the Assembly Elections 2014.
PCC Chief exhorted the party cadres to remain steadfast in the serving the people to the best of their ability. He said Congress Party has always been committed to reach out to the people for addressing the issues they are facing, for the fact, it is the Congress Party alone, which has always been committed for betterment and development of the people.
Speaking on the occasion former Deputy Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Tara Chand said that it is the Congress Party alone which has the capability of serving and resolving the issues people are facing, for the fact, Congress Party is capable enough to serve the State and people.
Speaking on the occasion Vice President JKPCC MLA, G.M. Saroori castigated PDP and BJP for the present stalemate and sought clarity from them. He asked them to explain to the people why they are not moving ahead with Government formation, as the people are worst hit of political drama staged by them.
Expressing concern over the present political crisis in the State former Minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla accused BJP for failing to respect the aspirations of people in Jammu. He accused BJP for playing with the emotions of people for the sake of coming into power, now the time has changed, people of Jammu would give a befitting reply to BJP for betraying them.
