SRINAGAR: Minister for Education Naeem Akhter on Monday clarified that compensation package already exists in the State, and government cannot change it.
Intervening during Zero Hour in the Legislative Council, the minister said that many soldiers and policemen have laid their lives for maintaining peace in the State which government values.
He said government has a set policy on the compensation for police personnel, and to change it needs a proper debate in the House.
