CM, Dy CM condemn Nagrota, Samba attacks

JAMMU: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh have condemned the terror attack on an army formation at Nagrota in wee hours today in which three personnel, including an officer, were killed. She has also condemned a similar attack at Samba.
In a statement issued here today, Mehbooba Mufti said Jammu & Kashmir has suffered heavily due to the unending cycle of violence and appealed for an end to it.
The Chief Minister has expressed sympathies with the families of slain soldiers and prayed for speedy recovery of the injured.
Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh said terror elements will be dealt with strongly and given a proper and strong response. He further said the nefarious designs of such elements will be defeated.
The Deputy Chief Minister also expressed solidarity with the family members of the Army personnel martyred in Nagrota attack. He said their sacrifices will be remembered for ever as they made the supreme sacrifice of their lives while thwarting the attack of the enemy. He said the sacrifices made by soldiers for defending the country and its territories will not go in waste and a befitting reply will be given to the enemy.
Dr Singh also condemned the infiltration bid at Ramgarh which was foiled by the BSF in which three infiltrators were killed and some jawans got injured.
Meanwhile, a meeting of Lok Vikas Dal (LVD) held under the chairmanship of state president Vikram Singh Slathia. In meeting all members of Dal widely condemned the terrorists attack on army installation at Nagrota and Chamlayal sector in Samba. All the members of the Dal has widely condoled martyrs who lost their lives for the sake of nation while fighting with terrorists and also pray may God to bestowed peace to their souls. LVD urged the UNO security council to declared Pakistan as terrorist State.
