JAMMU: Jammu Kashmir Clerical Association (JKCA), Jammu Province, extended its support to the agitating Female Multipurpose Health Workers (FMPHWs) for their genuine demands.
“We extend support to three days pen down strike call given by Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation from 8th to 10th June in favour of FMPHWs,” Mohd Saleem, Working President JKCA told reporters.
Saleem appealed to all clerical cadre of Health Department to support the pen down strike for three days in their respective institution.
Others present in the press conference were Surinder Baskhi, Raj Kumar, Rajesh Sharma, Surdeep Singh, Kamal Dhar and Sandeep Kumar.
Meanwhile, the district wise protest launched by the Female Multipurpose Health Workers (FMPHWs) entered in the 22nd consecutive day here today.
A large number of FMPHWs assembled at Madam Shashi Bala Memorial Park here under the supervision of Sushil Sudan, President Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation.
Sushil Sudan President JKMEF again warned the government to come up with the concrete solution to their problem otherwise the employees of Health Department will observe complete shutdown of health services from 8th to 10th June, 2017.
