Dear Editor,
In his Mann ki Baat address on March 27, Prime Minister Narendra Modi rightly highlighted the importance of cleanliness. If we all keep our respective areas, streets, lanes, villages, towns, cities, bus and railway stations, ports, airports, schools, colleges, hospitals etc clean, without any wet or dry garbage, there will be minimum possibility of filthy smell as well as of the spread of disease. As a result, all our citizens will be healthy and have a long life.
Cleanliness will also control tuberculosis to a great extent. Consequently, our tourism industry will soar rapidly because people from all over the world will rush to visit India that is rich in culture, language, lifestyle, festival, and what not! Clean India can soon become Rich India.
