JAMMU: Chief Justice of India Justice Dr Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud, is visiting Jammu on Wednesday to pay obeisance at the holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Deviji. According to reports, immediately after his arrival here, the Chief Justice will proceed to Katra. This is the first visit of Justice Chandrachud to Jammu and Kashmir after taking over as Chief Justice of India. Elevated as a Judge of Supreme Court of India on May 13, 2016, Justice Chandrachud was sworn in as the Chief Justice of India on November 9, 2022.
