Civil Engineering team lifts YPL trophy

JAMMU: Civil Engineering Team lifted the Yogananda Premier League (YPL) title, a weeklong cricket tournament, held in Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) Sports Ground, here on Friday.
In the final, Civil Engineering Team outplayed Mechanical Engineering Team and won the trophy.
Hanni Khajuria, VI Sem, Civil Engineering for his outstanding performance, was declared the Man of the Match. Prizes were given away to the winners.
In all, four teams representing different departments of YCET, i.e.; Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, participated in the competitive event.
Vidhi S Singh, Chairman, JGEI, was the Chief Guest and Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, JGEI was the Guest of Honour in the closing cderemony.
The event was organized by Sports Club Golden Gladiators of YCET under the guidance of Loveneesh Talwar, Sports Incharge.
Dr Seema Narain, Director, YCET, thanked the organizing club members and congratulated the winners.
Bodh Raj Verma, Chief Coordinator, R.S Dalpatia, Dy Registrar, A.K Kaul, TPO and senior faculty members Rajnish Magotra, Rhea Mahajan, Dinesh Gupta, Robin Kumar, Neeraj Pandita and Dr. Sumit Sanotra were also present.
Vidhi S Singh, Chairman, JGEI, Th. Shiv Dev Sigh Jamwal, Vice Chairman, JGEI, Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, JGEI, congratulated the winners for showing brilliant sportsmanship and
tremendous throughout the tournament.
