JAMMU: Five days Basic Civil Defence training programme on Tuesday concluded at Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu which was organised by Civil Defence, Jammu in collaboration with SDRF 2ndBn, Jammu under the close supervision of Deputy Controller Civil Defence Jammu, Tajinder Kour.
About 140 students attend the training programme.
Dr. Kiran Bakshi, Principal Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, appreciated the role of Civil Defense and hoped for holding such training programmes in future.
Prof. Nazia Rasool, Dr. Shiveta Gandotra and Prof. Shrotika Rajput NSS Programme Officers and Paramjit Kumar, Deputy Chief Warden, Santosh Magotra, Divisional Warden and R.Vijay Magotra, Deputy Divisional Warden were also present on the occasion.
Deputy Controller Civil Defense thanked all the participants and appealed the students to join the Civil Defense.
