City redevelopment plan getting shape in Rajouri

RAJOURI: Giving a further flip to ongoing ‘city redevelopment plan’ the District Administration Rajouri on Saturday had taken some steps to minimize the traffic congestion and parking problems across the city.
The administration has started yellow marking of roads for notifying scheduled places for parking while parking rules shall be notified shortly.
In addition to this, the administration has warned that any vehicle found parked outside the yellow line will be seized and lifted.
A special recovery van dedicated for city traffic has been procured in this regard, District Development Commissioner Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary informed.
He further said that the work has been started on parking lots and there might be temporary inconvenience to the people but that could be bearable in larger interest of Rajouri.
He also appealed general public to cooperate in giving a good shape to Rajouri district in general and City in particular.
