CISF gets ‘Excellence in Training’ Award

NEW DELHI: The second National Symposium on Excellence in Training (NSET) was organised on 27th and 28th May, 2016 by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) in collaboration with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
“Citizen Centric Governance” was the main theme of the symposium.
The 2nd NSET acknowledged and rewarded individuals, groups and institutions who are doing outstanding work in training. The awards were given in five thematic areas of Development of training content; Andragogy and Methodology; Management of Training and Training Establishments; Trainer/Faculty Development; Use of technology to bring innovation in training.
National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) of CISF was shortlisted for the award in the category of Trainer/ Faculty Development.
T. Vikram, IPS, DIG, CISF (NISA) received the trophy for ‘Excellence in Training’ in trainer/faculty development category from Dr. Jitendra Singh, MOS PNO on 28th May at VigyanBhavan, New Delhi. NISA was the only Institution of uniformed services to get the award.
