JAMMU: While intensifying his poll campaign, senior PDP leader and its candidate from Jammu East Assembly constituency, Bharat Choudhary visited various areas of the constituency on Tuesday. He was accorded warm and rousing welcome at all the places visited which include Lajpat Nagar, Rajinder Nagar, Rajiv Nagar, Pul Paar Colony etc.
He said “Even though these areas lie at the heart of the Jammu city, it is indeed sad that even after so many years, fruits of development have not reached these places. The residents of these areas have been used as a vote bank by successive politicians who have just doled out empty promises to them repeatedly.”
Choudhary said that such areas require focused attention and special need based developmental schemes will be formulated in consultation with the residents of these areas keeping in mind their aspirations and requirements.
While addressing the people, Choudhary said that people must not be duped again this time. It’s time for change and they must repose their faith in PDP, he added.
Choudhary appealed to the people to elect their representative from a party which is going to form the next government in the State. He assured that he will surely transform Jammu East as a most modern constituency as a part of the smart city and in line with his recently released vision document for the constituency.
