Children of Mawar Valley interact with PM

UDHAMPUR: The children of Mawar Valley located in North Kashmir, who were on capacity building organised by Frontier Baramulla Division of Chinar Corps, experienced exciting moments when they were face-to-face with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Prime Minister interacted with the children wherein he spoke to them on a wide range of issues and enquired about their families, the classes in which they were studying, their school environment, about life in the Mawar Valley as also how the Kashmir Valley was poised to make the most of a slew of development initiatives.

As a mark of honour and reflection of Kashmir craftsmanship, the children also presented a Kashmiri shawl and a bouquet of flowers to the Prime Minister.

The Chief of Army Staff, General Dalbir Singh and the Defence Secretary, G. Mohan Kumar joined the children.

Capt Shaurya Chadha, OIC Sadhbhavana Tour presented the vote of thanks.
