Srinagar: The Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, N. Koteshwar Singh, on Thursday launched the website for the legal platform “Courtrooms” in the presence of judges of the High Court alongside Advocate General of UT of J&K D. C. Raina.
In his address, the Chief Justice highlighted the importance of adapting to the evolving legal landscape, emphasizing the need for collaboration and information exchange. He also emphasized the judiciary’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring justice for all. The Chief Justice also outlined upcoming initiatives and reforms within the judicial system in the UT of J&K. The Advocate General, while speaking on the occasion, also remarked on the evolving demands of present society in the intersection of law and technology.
Notably, the website has been developed by two lawyers, Adv. Faheem Nisar Shah & Advocate Ilyas Nazir Laway. The event was attended by Justice Atul Sreedharan, Justice Rajnesh Oswal, Justice Vinod Chatterje Koul, Justice Rahul Bharti, Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi, Justice Waseem Sadiq Nargal, Registrar General, Principal Secretary to the Chief Justice, Registrar Judicial, other members of the registry, senior advocates, and members of the bar.
