BISHNAH: Continuing his campaign in Bishnah Assembly Constituency, Gulchain Singh Charak, the veteran Congress leader and candidate INC Bishnah Constituency exhorted the people of his constituency to join him in his mission to make Bishnah a show piece town and develop the constituency as the most modern constituency in the State.
He said that while as other towns are already on the path of development, the Bishnah and other areas of the constituency still remained under developed due to the poor attention given towards this important aspect by the people who represented this area as well as those at the helm of affairs.
He said that we have to go a long way to realise this dream and make Bishnah a model, developed and prosperous town which he has cherished for a long time. Charak appealed to the people that he wants their vote and support to carry out his ambitious project.
Speaking during impressive public/interactive meetings organised at village Pasgal and Ward No 4, Bishnah, Charak underlined the primary needs of the Arnia and Bishnah towns which include a clean and hygienic environment, good roads and foot paths, employment for youth, maintenance of the sub-district hospital and availability of life saving drugs, suitable accommodation for the existing Degree College which is still housed in the Hr. Sec School building, de-slitting and maintenance of the water canal, flowing through the heart of Bishnah; etc.
He addressed meetings at village Trewa, where people of Trewa village extended their full faith and support in favour of Gulchain Singh Charak.
Prominent among those also spoke in these meetings include Capt. (Retd.) Harshvardhan Sharma, Madan Bhagat, Dr. O.P Saini, Khajan Chand, Rattan Lal, Shadi Lal, Dr. Ragubhir Singh, Gian Chand , Rashpal Singh, Sunil Kumar and Darshan Lal.
