Channelise youth energy to earn name for nation: Kavinder

JAMMU: Speaker, Legislative Assembly and MLA Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta on Thursday visited Bhour Camp, Gadigarh, Trikuta Nagar and Old Satwari area of his constituency and inaugurated and inspected various works.
He was accompanied by the SDM, South, Sonu Pargal, BDO Satwari, A.K Khajuria, Principal GHSS, Bhour Camp, Swaran Lata Soni, Dr. Vinod Shastri, Pt. Ashok Khajuria and various political and social activists of the area. The Speaker inaugurated the pathway at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Bhour Camp to be completed under the supervision of Rural Development Department (RDD) at an estimated cost of Rs. 5 lakh and also attended a cultural programme where students performed various inspirational stage shows.
The school staff put forth various demands pertaining to the welfare of the students viz playground, proper supply of drinking water, repairing of the damaged boundary wall and expansion of the examination hall for the school.
Stressing on the need for providing improved infrastructure for the students to perform and compete better, he announced a cricket kit for the school along with a water cooler out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and said that their other demands will also be taken up on priority.
Later, he inaugurated the closing ceremony of hockey tournament organized at Bhargav Academy School, Gadigarh and distributed prizes among the players.
Baldev Billoria, Pt. Ashok Khajuria, Vikas Sharma, Vinay Gupta, Vijay Sharma, Pitamber Sharma were prominent among others who attended the programme.
