Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Pakistan must be hailed as one of the most path-breaking initiatives to build trust with our unpredictable neighbour. The visit is significant in the context of changing ground realities in war-torn Afghanistan and the environment of terror, particularly the one emanating from the growing influence of Islamic State.
