Chandi Mahayagya to begin at Katra from July 9

JAMMU: Shri Rajmata Jhandaywala Mandir set up by Shree Shree 108 Shree Rajmata ji Maharaj at Delhi, Haridawar , Jammu and Katra Vaishno Devi and Jai Deva Mission is jointly organising first of its kind Chandi Mahayagya at Katra Vaishno Devi from 9th to 17th July, 2016.
Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, Head of the Mandir and Mission, Swami Rajeshwara Nand Maharaj said that such Yagyas play a significant role to change the human mind and life. He said that his aims and objectives behind this Yagya is to end the menace of terrorism and restoration of normalcy and peace in the State. He expressed concern on the terrorist attack and hoped that the atmosphere of this Yagya will definitely affect positively in curbing the increasing militancy.
Expressing concern over the increasing population in India, Swami ji has written a letter to the Prime Minister with his blood in presence of media person to make ‘Population Control Law’ in the interest of India as a whole. Referring to the Prime Minister slogan ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padao’, Swami ji said he would like to add ‘Beti Basao’ with this slogan.
Rajeshwara Nand also highlighted the other activities of Mandir and mission which include soleminising the collective marriages of poor girls, running of charitable dispensary, center for the orphan children and aged persons.
These facilities will also be extend in his Ashrams of J and K shortly , he said. The Chandi Mahayagya will start after organising Shobha as well as Kalash Yatra on 9th July which will be flaged off by SSP Katra. This Shobha Yatra will culminate at Jai Deva Mandir after passing through the Main Bazaar of Katra and Udhampur. The Chief Executive Officer of the Shrine Board will lit the traditional light and Maharaj will ignite the Yagya fire on 9th July.
