SAMBA: Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash on Sunday held a public grievances redressal camp at Gurha Salathia to take stock of the problems being faced by the people.
The minister was accompanied by MLA, Samba Davinder Singh Manyal, senior BJP leader Farooq Khan and other prominent persons. People of the area demanded construction of flyover in Vijaypur town, Tehsil status to Gurha Salathia, opening library for upper and lower Panchayat and plying of buses of JKRTC from Jammu to Gurha Salathia.
People also demanded uninterrupted supply of drinking water and availability of doctors at Vijaypur Hospital and other PHCs.
Minister, after giving a patient hearing to the problems of the people assured that their issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities. He said that he will take up the matter of construction of flyover with the Central Government to fulfill the developmental aspirations of the people. He also assured that all the problems being highlighted by the people will be solved on priority.
