The Indian hockey team is doing exceedingly well. The venue is Lee Hockey and Tennis Centre London and the occasion is Hero Champion Trophy 2016 edition. India drew with German 3-3 in the opening match. In fact, this match was dominated by the Indians. They beat the Great Britain 2-1 in the next match. The host team was totally surprised. They India went down fighting to another European team Belgium 1-2. And on Tuesday, after beating South Korea, they were at number 2 on the points tally. It is pre-Olympics and the team will land at Rio De Janerio with lot of confidence. Coach Roelant Oltman’s sweat is paying dividends. The Indian team is playing planned hockey with beautiful executed passes and out-playing other teams in ball possession, a good omen. May you continue this winning spree in Olympics. Chak de India!
