Ch Manmohan visits firing affected villages

R S PURA: Ch. Manmohan Singh President All India Jat Mahasabha J and K on Monday toured border villages of R.S Pura Suchetgarh, Kurotana Khurd with their Sarpanch Swarn Lal, where one Ch. Sansar Chand had lost his cattle in border firing. He also visited in village Abdullian with Sarpanch Ch.Pappu, to residences of Ch. Romesh Kumar, Bodh Raj, Rashpal Singh, Ashok Kumar and Ajit Singh, all these who lost most of their cattle in cease fire violation by Pakistan, having others severely injured.
He interacted with border dwellers listen to their woes. While addressing the gathering said that Govt should formulate a concrete policy for the border area people who suffer every day in firing, from both sides and Govt should ensure that the locals are insured against their losses, their cattle and agriculture.
He also demanded from the Govt to provide 5 Marla plot to each border area family at a safe place, so that these people can commute to safety at such times to prevent their life from daily disruption, along with provision of monetary compensation at par with present market value to cover the loss of their cattle. Ch.Manmohan Singh was accompanied by members of Distt Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee; S.Harmeet Singh, S.Manm-ohan Singh, S.Manjeet Singh. And; Ch.Dev Raj of Sai Khurd, Ch.Rashpal Singh, Ch.Chuni Lal and Ch.Deep Raj.
