SAMBA: The important roads leading to Central University and Bagoona are in shambles. In the absence of repair and maintenance for years together, the roads have developed deep potholes and totally eroding the black top carpet where the vehicle operators hesitate plying their vehicles.
The road from Raya Morh to Central University measuring 8.5 kms and Badhodi to Bagoona measuring 5 kilometers need immediate repair and black topping. The road to Bagoona touches the village of saviour of State Brigadier Rajinder Singh which needs to be given the needed importance and properly maintained.
People of the area have appealed to the Minister of Roads and Buildings to give due attention to these roads and issue suitable instructions to the concerned XEn to carry out special repairs to these roads.
