JAMMU: Scrutinising Committee constituted for poll of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) on Saturday found all nomination forms valid.
The aforesaid committee comprising Annil Suri, Election President, Rajan Gupta, Jagdish Langer and Ashwani Khullar, members of the Election Committee held a meeting here at Chamber House and found that all the nomination forms received are valid.
Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, Election President Annil Suri informed that the voting will be strictly on Photo Voter Cards. He appealed to the members who have not given their photographs, to submit the same in person or through email viz chamberelection2017@gmail.com by or before 15th February 2017 for issuing the Photo Voter Cards.
The Election Committee cautioned the members that they will not be allowed to cast their votes without Photo Voter Cards. It was also divulged that the nominations can be withdrawn up to 4 PM on 15th February 2017 and election will be held on 5th March 2017 from 10 AM to 5 PM at Chamber House.
