CCI accords farewell to ADGP Mukesh Singh

JAMMU: Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI) organized a function on Thursday to bid farewell to Mukesh Singh, ADGP on his transfer as IGP ITBP, Government of India.
CCI president Arun Gupta recalled the services rendered by Mukesh Singh during his tenure as ADGP Jammu.
He said that the people of Jammu will remember him for his polite and determined approach to solve the problems confronting the people of Jammu.
During his tenure as ADGP the crime graph in Jammu has considerably come down and only few incidents of terrorism and bomb blasts have taken place, arun said adding that during his tenure more than 350 modern rifles, 650 grenades(approx.) and the drugs valuing crores of rupees was captured by the police department.
Arun Gupta further said that Chamber has good rapport and will miss him but we wish him very best wishes and good luck on joining the new assignment.
Mukesh Singh said that the activities of the Jammu Chamber were as per the wishes of the Chamber members but the police department has to act as per law and the duties assigned by the government.
He also said that we have tried the better relations between Chamber and the police department should prevail.
Sometimes the actions of the police department are not visible on the ground but the duty performed by the police department has saved so many precious lives and the incidents which can create chaos in the public, he added.
Besides the other office bearers namely Anil Gupta, Sr. Vice President CCI, Rajeev Gupta, Jr. Vice President CCI, Manish Gupta, Secretary General CCI, Rajesh Gupta, Secretary CCI, Yash Pal Gupta, Shiv Partap Gupta, Subash Gupta, Davinder Batra, Ravinder Sawahney, Jagdish Langer, Anil Kapahi, Narinder Singh Chahal, Rajan Gupta, Anil Gupta, K.K Khosa, Ashish Gupta, Kamal Kishore Gupta, Vishal Malhotra, Charanjeet Singh, Jasbir Singh, Rajesh Bhagotra, Rajinder Parshad, Davinder Gupta, Krishnan Kutty, Dr. Gautam Goel, Vinod Gupta, Narinder Kumar and Zulafikar Ali Mumtaz were present on the occasion.
