DELHI/ CHANDIGARH: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Thursday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision for caste census will go a long way to ensure equitable distribution of benefits to all section of the society. In a statement, he said various development schemes spearheaded by the Modi government will be categorically touching the last man in the queue as envisioned by the Ekatma philosophy of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya and social justice as envisioned by Dr Ambedkar.
Chugh took strong exception to the divisive politics being done by Rahul Gandhi in the name of votes, saying, “The Gandhi family has spelt political statement which stands exposed to the nation.”
He said the Congress has always tried to divide the society on class and religion basis for electoral purposes
The nation has taken a big new step which will go a long way to empower all sections of the society, Chugh added.
