UDHAMPUR: A free eye camp was organised at Karcha and Lander by Martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan Memorial Trust Udhampur in collaboration with Rotary Eye and ENT Hospital Udhampur on Tuesday. Medical team from Rotary Eye and ENT Hospital Udhampur led by Dr Ankur Goel (Ophthalmic Surgeon) examined the patients. In the said camp 246 patients were examined and out of which 45 were screened for implantation of IOL. IOL will be implanted at Rotary Eye and ENT Hospital Udhampur on 14th June 2017.
Dev Raj Gupta, Chairman of Martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan Memorial Trust and Rtn D. N Sharma Chairman of Rotary Eye Hospital Udhampur, Dr Yogeshwar Gupta, Satish Chopra, Rtn S. Kerni actively participated in the camp. Jeevan Kumar Sarpanch also participate the camp by way of providing wide publicity among the rural masses regarding the camp.
Rotary Eye Hospital Udhampur committed, that Rotary will continue to organise such more camps in rural and backward areas of J and K State to prevent the preventable blindness from the J and K State so that poor people will be benefitted.
