2 drug peddlers arrested
JAMMU: Intensifying its drive against drug peddlers, police on Thursday arrested a person and recovered about 760 intoxicant capsules from his possession.
The drug peddler has been identified as Sanjit Kumar, son of late Raj Kumar resident of 1043, Sector 8, Nanak Nagar Jammu.
Police team led by SHO Trikuta Nagar Naveen Angral laid a Naka at RBI Chowk, near Railway Station Jammu at 5:00 AM and arrested Sanjit and recovered 760 intoxicant capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon Plus from his possession.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SSP Jammu Uttam Chand, SP South Rahul Malik and SDPO South Mohammad Rafiq Manhas.
The police registered an FIR and started investigation in the matter.
Meanwhile, police arrested Suresh Kumar, resident of Kishtwar from Bus Stand area and recovered Charas from his possession.
