Candle light march against Peshawar school attack

DODA: A candle light march was organised in Doda to stand in solidarity with the families of the victims of the terrorist assault at Army Public School in Peshawar Pakistan and to pay tributes to the school children who lost their lives in the carnage.
The candle light march led by Deputy Commissioner Doda Shyam Vinod Meena was organised from DC Office Complex to Old Bus Stand Doda in which officers and officials of district administration , police, prominent citizens, media fraternity, bar association, social and religious organisations, NGOs, students, children and general public participated.
While praying for the peace to the departed souls and providing strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss a two minutes silence was observed. DC Doda on behalf of the District Administration Doda, and general public offered condolences to the departed innocent souls by observing silence and praying for them. DC said it is extremely sad and tragic to know that kids can also be targeted like this, we all feel the pain for those innocent lives who were finished off for no fault of theirs . He also said that we all show solidarity with the grieving people. He further said that the perpetrators of such incidents have no religion and knew no borders, they should be dealt with the strictest law of the land.
DC also said such incidents are assault on entire humanity and appealed to the parents to counsel their wards by telling them such things will have to be dealt with patience and we all should learn a lesson from such incidents and take oath to provide such education and moral values to our children that they become responsible citizens of the country and this sort of unfortunate incident does not repeat in near future in any part of the world.
