JAMMU: Mega Cancer Conference organised by LBN Radiation of Hope in association with American Oncology Institute Jammu, Association of Radiation Oncologists of India, North Zone Chapter (NZ-AROI) and Indian Society of Clinical Oncology was inaugurated by Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner Secretary GAD, Govt UT of J&K.
Conference Executive Chairman of the programme is the leading Radiation Oncologist Dr. Deepak Abrol and Conference Academic Chairman is leading Medical Oncologist Dr. Satyanker Gupta.
The conference which begin on 6th Oct 2023 will conclude on 8th Oct 2023. The three day mega event is going to witness workshops, symposiums, panel discussions, expert lectures and one to one discussions.
In addition to this, a free Cancer screening and General health check up camp was also organised In which 4 mobile buses were present. AOI Jammu team offered free tests and services like Mammography, Bone Densitometry, Pap Smear, PSA, and other lab tests along with free Oncology, Gynaecology, and general consultation at the camp. Dr. Pavan Malhotra, Director Principal ASCOMS delievred welcome address and praise American Oncology Institute for bringing Oncology services to Jammu.
Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner Secretary GAD said that such type of conferences generate awareness among masses and help medical fraternity especially faculty to brushup their knowledge. He praised the organisers for arranging free medical services for people of Jammu. He also praised LBNROH trust for their consistency in organising such events.
